Uptic Modern Slavery Policy

Last updated: 03-10-2025

Uptic is committed to preventing modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and exploitation in all parts of our business and supply chains. We uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and expect the same from everyone we work with.

1. Our commitment

We will:

  • Act with integrity and transparency in all business dealings.
  • Have zero tolerance for modern slavery, human trafficking, forced or bonded labour, and child labour.
  • Ensure that our people and suppliers operate in accordance with international human rights standards, including the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Labour Organization’s core conventions.

2. Our supply chain and business relationships

We work with suppliers and partners who share our commitment to ethical practices. We require that they:

  • Comply with all relevant labour, employment, and human rights laws.
  • Do not use forced or compulsory labour of any kind.
  • Provide safe and fair working conditions.
  • Avoid charging recruitment fees or practices that could trap workers in debt.

We will take reasonable steps to assess and manage risks in our supply chain and, where appropriate, request evidence of compliance.

3. Due diligence

To prevent modern slavery in our operations and supply chains, we:

  • Conduct checks on key suppliers and partners.
  • Include ethical standards in our supplier agreements.
  • Review our policies and procedures regularly to identify areas of risk and improvement.

4. Training and awareness

We provide guidance to our employees and partners to help them recognise the signs of modern slavery and report any concerns.

5. Reporting concerns

We encourage anyone who has concerns about modern slavery or human trafficking in our business or supply chains to report it confidentially to sayhello@uptic.io

. Reports will be investigated promptly, and we will not tolerate retaliation against whistleblowers.

6. Continuous improvement

We are committed to reviewing and strengthening our approach to preventing modern slavery each year. Where issues are identified, we will take appropriate corrective action.

7. Approval

This policy has been approved by the Uptic leadership team and reflects our ongoing commitment to ethical and responsible business practices.
