Cloud Contracts 365 partnered with Uptic to modernize its platform—building a secure, API-first SaaS that delivers speed, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Founded by legal professionals specializing in supporting Microsoft-focused technology companies, Cloud Contracts 365 (CC365) began as an AI-powered non-disclosure agreement (NDA) review tool. After early traction and support from Innovate UK, the product evolved into a comprehensive contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform.
Award-winning and recognised for its innovation, CC365 is backed by accolades from TechNation, the British Legal Technology Awards (Innovation in Legal Services winner), the UK Business Tech Awards (finalist) and the Business Awards UK—underscoring its commitment to democratising legal services for tech businesses.
The company’s mission was clear: democratise legal services by making enterprise-grade contract management accessible to startups and SMEs. But delivering this vision required a scalable, reliable, and modern SaaS foundation—one that could support rapid innovation, seamless integration, and enterprise-level performance.
The legacy platform, built on a monolithic .NET framework, was beginning to show its limits. Every deployment involved manual effort, updates were slow, and integration with other business systems required costly custom development.
As the user base expanded, scalability, performance, and data security became critical. The system couldn’t easily adapt to new compliance frameworks or integrate cleanly with enterprise APIs like SharePoint, Dynamics, or Teams.
To sustain growth and serve larger enterprise customers, Cloud Contracts 365 needed a cloud-native, API-first architecture — enabling faster releases, real-time connectivity, and improved reliability across a multi-tenant SaaS environment.
Uptic deployed a Product & Platform Team to re-engineer Cloud Contracts 365 into a cloud-native Azure SaaS platform, combining deep architectural expertise with modern UX and agile delivery practices.
Uptic’s fractional delivery model — UI/UX designers, full-stack developers, testers, and SREs rolling on and off as needed — ensured delivery stayed lean, fast, and aligned to business outcomes.
The modernization transformed a static, costly legacy system into a high-performance, cloud-native platform — dramatically improving efficiency, scalability, and sustainability.
“Uptic’s ability to modernize our platform while keeping us fully operational was impressive. The new architecture has given us speed, control, and confidence as we scale.”- Product Director, Cloud Contracts 365
